Job Description: The Daytona Beach Flight department is seeking to hire a Flight E-Learning Specialist. The E-Learning Specialist is responsible for developing engaging and visually compelling multimedia content to modernize and enhance Embry-Riddle's flight training support materials. This role involves creating interactive presentations using Articulate Storyline for deployment on Canvas LMS, applying instructional design methodology to ensure all learning materials are aligned with Embry-Riddle's flight training curriculum. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate 360, and AI-driven tools for e-learning development is essential to translate complex textual information into accessible, visually engaging training modules.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Developing, maintaining, and updating graphic designs for flight course support material in collaboration with subject matter experts
- Creating new e-learning materials for student training courses
- Producing graphic designs in support of educational and promotional videos for the department
- Creating graphic designs for all department websites and other web-based initiatives
- Standardize the use of e-learning slides in presentation themes, department banners, posters, and other department media
- Assist in special department projects that require graphic design content
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Digital Communications, or Learning and Development
- At least three years of professional level experience with students
Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
- Expertise with Articulate Storyline 360.
- Expertise with PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Ability to communicate concepts and ideas.
- Experience working on multiple projects with competing resources and deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Self-motivated and able to work on projects independently as well as with a team.
- Skilled at offering and receiving thoughtful criticism and feedback.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
