Overview
Lead Salesforce Software Engineer
Responsible for engineering next generation products and services and development of solutions using the Salesforce platform. Work with a team of Salesforce engineers and admins to build business solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, Salesforce Communities and custom integration with other ACT solutions. Responsible for analyzing business problems, interacting directly with internal customers, capturing and documenting business requirements, maintaining use cases/business process flows, developing and executing system test cases, and providing application training. Actively participate in design/architectural discussions, grooming user stories, sprint demos, and daily scrums to establish a BDD approach. Engage in Agile process and recommend product, infrastructure, or design changes to ensure quality, performance standards, robustness, scalability and consistency. Collaborate with team to design, create, maintain, and enhance solutions with reusable components that can be leveraged by multiple teams. Collaborate with scrum team to support all SDLC activities, including those in consideration of product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance as well as leveraging static code analysis tools and how we support production monitoring. Communicate with end users, stakeholders, and leadership through requirements gathering meetings, demos, trainings, release notes, and status updates. Manage ongoing support requests and user administrative needs, including approval and prioritization process. Mentor, coach and encourage development and growth in Salesforce knowledge, skills and abilities organizationally.
Remote employment available from anywhere in the U.S. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $145,906.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems or closely related area with 6 years of progressively responsible IT experience or Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems or closely related area with 4 years of progressively responsible IT experience, including 3 years of Salesforce.com development using Lightning Flows, and Lightning Components in Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud (communities) and of Salesforce Administration and 2 years Salesforce solutioning/architecture, that includes experience with Apex classes, triggers; with version control solutions (BitBucket or Git); with Apex sharing models, single sign-on configuration, Outlook Integration and Syncing; with Omni Channel, Live Agent Chat, and Embedded Services; with Release Management, Code Migration as well as in setting up pipelines, code coverage analysis, overwrite protection and in creating workflows in Qualtrics application, process builders, workflows, visual force, apex coding; Salesforce data model, custom objects, visual force pages, workflows; Docusign Apps Launcher, and the ability to manage Marketing Cloud application, create HTML email templates and certification as a Salesforce Advanced Administrator and Flosum Certified Professional.
