Job Summary:

The University of Kentucky Clinical Research Support Office ( CRSO ) provides support to investigators and study teams conducting clinical research, including clinical trials. Services provided by the CRSO include maintaining a clinical trial management system ( CTMS ), maintaining an electronic data capture system ( EDC ), maintaining an electronic regulatory management system (eReg), conducting coverage analysis, developing study budgets, negotiating payment terms with sponsors, and regulatory services. The CRSO is seeking qualified candidates for an Information Technology Trainer Senior (working title: Research Systems Educator) position. This position will become the subject matter expert in UK's new electronic regulatory management system (eReg). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to ...
- Coordinating all aspects of the eReg end-user training for the institution
- Scheduling and delivering initial and refresher training for staff at all levels via varying delivery methods and instructional design techniques
- Serving as the primary provider of initial triage and first line support to eReg end-users
- Assisting in testing and validation of the eReg system during system database patches, maintenance upgrades, system upgrades, and the introduction of new features
- Assisting with training activities for the institutional CTMS and EDC end-users including, but not limited to: access request processing, training course assignment, initial/refresher training, and document management
