Qualifications: Current college junior, senior, or recent graduate with availability to work 24 hours/week in-person for the duration of the internship.
Location: This is an in-person internship based in New York, NY.
Compensation: $15 - $15 / Hourly

We are looking for an Editorial intern to help in the creation and maintenance of our Children’s Book list.
Summer (Children’s Editorial) Internship Responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as Assist the editorial team in reviewing and proofreading manuscripts.
- maintaining spreadsheets, tracking project milestones, and organizing virtual team meetings
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new children's book ideas, including titles, themes, and storytelling approaches
- Research trends in children's literature, competitive titles, and themes relevant to future projects
Internship Program Details:
Sourcebooks offers a 10- week PAID, IN-PERSON internship at our New York, NY office. Interns will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience at a growing book publisher. You will learn how to use different communications styles and strategies to share information with different audiences both within and outside the company. A key component of this internship is storytelling: we’re communicating the Sourcebooks story, and our Books Change Lives mission, every day. You’ll learn how to refine a message, speak to values, engage an audience, and more! We're looking for book lovers who are excited to experiment, learn new things, and make a difference in the world of books.
Requirements & Eligibility:
• Current college junior, senior or recent graduate
• Able to work 24 hours/week throughout the program in person 3 days/week in New York, NY
• Available and commit to the program working June 10, 2025, to August 14, 2025
• Must reside in the U.S. for the duration of the internship program
• Must be over the age of 18
