Responsibilities: Develop new features, optimize performance, and ensure quality of the Quiz Tool within the Brightspace Platform. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams.
Skills: Experience with object-oriented design and proficient coding in C++, C#, or Java. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar. Previous software development experience in a technology-focused environment is preferred.
Location: Downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with convenient access to public transit and dining options.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between CAD $75,000 - CAD $105,000.

What you’ll bring to the role:
- Ability to analyze and decompose problems into potential technical solutions
- Experience with OO design and proficient coding skills (ie: C++, C# or Java)
- Strong understanding of Computer Science topics including: data structures, algorithms, databases, distributed systems
- Experience in software development, preferably in a technology focused company
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar technical discipline
