Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $40,000 - $55,000.

Position Summary
Onsite Computer Technicians are responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, identifying parts needed, and repairing hardware issues on customers’ laptops, Chromebooks, and desktops. Onsite Computer Technicians also analyze and re-certifying computers, ensuring personal data is cleared and all functions operate as intended by the manufacturer.
Responsibilities
Perform computer diagnostics, test and repair including component replacement
Inspect computers, follow test plans and analyze all functions to provide a cosmetic and functional assessment
Prepare and configure computers according to customer requirements and work instructions provided
Maintain high quality performance levels
Replace internal computer components, including storage, memory, GPU, etc
Data entry via PC and RF handheld devices
Re-image computers with custom and default images
Perform tasks in a high-speed, high-volume environment
Education & Skill Requirements
- 2+ yrs of proven experience working with computer hardware (e.g., repair and configuration)
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills
- Ability to tear down and rebuild laptops and desktops quickly and neatly
- Ability to accurately add/remove components within a PC/Laptop/Server
- Ability to effectively communicate with teammates and supervisors
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus
- A+ certification is a strong asset
- Strong experience with soldering
Shift
- Monday through Thursday 7:00 am-4:30 pm and Fridays 7:00 am-11:00 am
