Role Overview
The VP of Product will shape and execute Kiddom’s product strategy with a focus on platform development, curriculum integration, and leveraging AI to transform education. You’ll lead a cross-functional team in creating innovative solutions that align with curriculum standards, enhance teaching effectiveness, and improve student outcomes. Key Responsibilities


    • Product Vision & Strategy
    • Define a bold product vision for Kiddom that integrates curriculum delivery, platform scalability, and AI-driven personalization to address the needs of educators and students.
    • Develop a product roadmap that strengthens Kiddom’s position as a leader in curriculum-based education technology.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage AI for adaptive learning, predictive analytics, and automated administrative workflows to improve educational outcomes and user experiences.
    • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and district partners to ensure Kiddom’s solutions align with curriculum standards like Common Core, NGSS, and state-specific frameworks.
    • Stay at the forefront of trends in curriculum design, education technology, and AI to shape forward-thinking product strategies.

    • Platform Development
    • Drive the evolution of Kiddom’s platform architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability with other education tools and systems.
    • Partner with engineering to prioritize technical investments that enhance the platform’s performance and reliability.
    • Lead the integration of third-party tools and content providers to expand the ecosystem and enhance user value.
    • Ensure that the platform supports seamless curriculum customization and delivery for schools and districts at scale.

    • AI-Driven Innovation
    • Identify and implement opportunities to use AI to provide actionable insights to educators, such as automated grading, content recommendations, and predictive student performance analytics.
    • Build AI-driven tools that enable personalized learning experiences for students, aligning with their unique strengths and needs.
    • Ensure ethical, transparent, and responsible use of AI in all product implementations.

    • Leadership & Team Development
    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product team, fostering collaboration across engineering, design, curriculum, and data science teams.
    • Act as a cross-functional leader, working closely with sales, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure Kiddom’s product meets the needs of educators and district stakeholders.
    • Cultivate a customer-obsessed culture within the team, ensuring that educator and student feedback drives product decisions.

    • Execution & Delivery
    • Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery to launch, ensuring products are delivered on time and achieve intended impact.
    • Define and track KPIs to measure product success, iterating based on data and customer feedback.
    • Ensure all products and features are designed for accessibility, equity, and usability for diverse education environments.

Qualifications

    • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within SaaS, education technology, or related fields.
    • Proven track record of developing and scaling platform-based products.
    • Deep understanding of K-12 curriculum standards and how they translate into digital tools for instruction and assessment (Nice to Have)
    • Experience implementing AI/ML capabilities into SaaS products, with a focus on practical, user-centered applications in education.
    • Strong technical acumen with the ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams on complex platform challenges.
    • Exceptional leadership skills with a history of building and empowering high-performing teams.
    • Passion for education and a commitment to empowering educators and students through innovative solutions.

$200,000 - $400,000 a year
Salary range is dependent on geography, past experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.
