Figma is seeking a Data Scientist for their Go-to-Market teams to enhance growth through data-driven strategies, model building, and insights collaboration. This full-time position can be performed remotely within the United States or at one of Figma's US hubs.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include developing datasets and KPIs for the Go-to-Market organization, collaborating with the Data Engineering team on data infrastructure, performing impact analysis for business initiatives, and integrating data-driven insights into strategies.
Skills: Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in a Go-to-Market function, fluency in SQL, proficiency in Python or R, experience with distributed data processing systems, and a solid grasp of statistical methods for experiment design.
Qualifications: A proven ability in problem solving and communication across functions is preferred, especially for driving solutions effectively.
Location: Remote work is possible within the United States; hubs also in San Francisco, CA and New York, NY.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $120,000 - $180,000.
We are looking for a Data Scientist to partner with our Go-to-Market teams to accelerate growth at Figma. In this role, you will be responsible for building models to optimize our business efforts, uncovering insights to guide new strategies, and collaborating with a variety of cross functional peers to help leverage data throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of executing analytical projects as well as partnering closely with business peers to guide decision making.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
- Develop and maintain datasets, KPIs, and reporting tools for teams in our Go-to-Market organization
- Craft and maintain data infrastructure with the Data Engineering team by translating business requirements from business partners to data models that will enable reporting, dashboards, and segmentation; responsible for data integrity
- Perform impact analysis and modeling for a variety of different business initiatives and projects
- Evaluate and size the projected impact of new business strategies and how they connect to broader company goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate data-driven insights into Go-to-Market strategies and decision-making processes

Sales-Assisted Marketing: The mission of Sales Assisted Marketing Data Science is to empower our marketing and sales partners to better understand and optimize the impact of our marketing activities to help the business grow. We use data to improve how we spend money, engage & retain customers, and ultimately drive ARR.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- 5+ years relevant work experience supporting a Go-to-Market function
- Fluency in SQL
- Proficiency in Python, R or similar scripting language
- Experience in distributed data processing systems (Hive, Redshift, Presto, Snowflake, etc)
- Prior experience in applying statistical methods to experiment design
- A proven track record of excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills on short and long term projects
- Experience communicating and working across functions to proactively drive solutions
