As a Provider Operations Associate, you’ll partner with our Provider Operations team to ensure a smooth time tracking process for our providers and internal teams, and collaborate cross-functionally to identify areas of improvement in our provider operations process.

What You’ll Do
- Provider Time-tracking Quality Assurance:
- Manage provider time tracking process, ensuring accurate and reasonable billing for Parallel’s services
- Compile data on how providers are logging time to evaluate and propose improvements that could be made based on trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Managers, Product and Engineering, and Finance
- Investigate any pay errors or inconsistencies based on time tracking data, including unpaid time, or submissions inconsistent with expectations
- System and Process Improvement
- Partner across teams to identify areas of efficiency improvement in the time tracking and QA process
- Determine relevant and consistent metrics to measure success of the Parallel provider time tracking process
- Identify pain points, both internal and external, and work cross-functionally to come up with solutions
- Provider Outreach and Support
- Meet one-on-one with providers who have complicated questions, or who are struggling with the billing process
- Consistently update our internal and external resources regarding time tracking, billing, and QA systems and policies
- Create new resources to assist providers with understanding our time tracking process
What You’ll Need
This position will be a perfect fit for someone with 0-2 years of experience in a service oriented and/or operational & process improvement role.
- A bachelor's degree
- Experience working in administration or operations in a healthcare or educational setting and working closely with clinicians and/or educational instructors
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for spotting inconsistencies
- Passionate customer service mindset, with a focus on supporting and educating internal teams and clinicians
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deliver information concisely and informatively
- Strong process management and improvement skills with track record of leveraging technology to improve processes
- Proficiency with data management (e.g. systems like Airtable, Looker) and communication systems (e.g. Zendesk), Google Suite, and other tools used for outreach and data tracking
- Ability to adapt to changes in company policies, clinician and team needs, or employee feedback
- Bonus points if you have the following:
- Prior experience in a high-growth start-up or other fast-paced work environment
- Prior experience with virtual management of time worked by employees and quality assurance
- Worked previously at a behavioral health or tele-educational company or organization
