Purpose: 


The Director, Sales Operations is a strategic leader responsible for optimizing sales performance, efficiency, and effectiveness across the organization. This role will oversee sales operations, analytics,  enablement initiatives, and RFP management to drive revenue growth and improve sales productivity. The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver with a passion for process optimization, sales enablement, and cross-functional collaboration.


Position Responsibilities: 


Sales Operations

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales operations strategies to support company growth objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and implement scalable solutions to improve workflow, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Data & Analytics: Provide data-driven insights, reporting, and dashboards to support sales leadership in decision-making and performance tracking.
  • RFP & Proposal Management: Lead the coordination, development, and submission of RFP responses, working closely with sales, marketing, and finance to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Order Quality & Finance Collaboration: Partner with Finance to review orders, ensure data accuracy, and optimize the sales-to-finance workflow to maintain order quality and revenue recognition integrity.
  • CRM & Sales Tech Stack Management: Oversee the optimization, and adoption of Salesforce and other sales tools, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing needs.

Sales Enablement

  • Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs to onboard new sales team members and provide ongoing skill development for all sales team members.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure sales has the necessary tools, messaging, and resources to succeed.
  • Performance Optimization: Develop and execute sales enablement initiatives that improve win rates, shorten sales cycles, and increase deal velocity. 
Requirements

 

  • Experience: 7+ years in sales operations, sales enablement, or related roles within a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Leadership: Experience managing a team and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, sales enablement platforms, and analytics tools and MS Office.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive actionable insights.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Process-Oriented: Passion for building, refining, and scaling sales processes.
  • RFP & Order Management Experience: Proven ability to manage RFP responses and collaborate with Finance to ensure order accuracy and compliance.
  • Must be Atlanta based, but this role is remote
