About the Opportunity

Ellucian is seeking a Senior Program Director who will report to the Senior Director of Strategy and Delivery within our Professional Services group. The Senior Program Director works with Strategic Customers and Project Teams to ensure successful implementation of Ellucian’s product offerings in the Cloud and SaaS environments.  Working in cross-functional partnership across delivery units, the director ensures the effective transformation of clients into SaaS while driving faster time to value for customers. This is a high visibility and high impact role where your leadership will lead to positive outcomes for our customers and their students.

Where you will make an impact

  • Providing leadership on critical issue management for Strategic Customers Driving compliance and assurance metrics and measurements along with monitoring practices
  • Acting as the strategic project director for strategic modernization projects, driving to successful client delivery outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with the Services team to develop and/or improve strategies, policies, and processes; support and promote the use of new delivery methodologies and best practices
  • Developing related materials and artifacts that drive and support the new delivery models, where appropriate
  • Schedule and conduct recurring Executive Sponsor meetings with customer leadership to discuss status, issues, and risks.
  • Schedule and conduct recurring Ellucian Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meetings and provide updates on program progress, status, issues, and risks.
  • Exceptional personnel management and team building expertise to promote collaboration and support program success.
  • Fulfilling the broader mission of global Professional Services as it relates to global scale

What you will bring

  • 10 years of consulting or directly relevant client management experience within depth knowledge of SaaS implementations
  • Demonstrated understanding of the role technology plays in supporting clients on and how it may be leveraged to bring out operational efficiencies through speed to delivery
  • Positive, self-motivated, team-oriented individuals with the ability and desire to innovate, create, and develop solutions that have the capability of transforming the effectiveness of higher education
  • Demonstrated and successful implementation of IT governance, standards, best practices, and outsourcing options relevant for the higher education setting
  • Ability to develop detailed plans to deliver excellence at educational clients
  • Exceptional relationship building skills supported by proven action and follow-through using strong time and project management skills
  • Superior interpersonal, written and oral communications skills with an emphasis on relationship building, facilitating, public speaking and presentations.
