Summary
ENTS is looking for a quality candidate for the position of Information Technology Support III. This position will be responsible for managing the computer hardware and software for faculty, staff, and graduate students, as well as undergraduate computing labs in the ABE department. This position will also be handling numerous requests through support tickets, email, walk-ins, and phone calls. Candidates should be able to juggle numerous requests simultaneously and deliver high-level service consistently.
Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and servicing hardware such as desktops, laptops, and printers, as well as maintaining an organized inventory of IT assets. The candidate will also troubleshoot and provide first-tier support for a range of software applications, quickly becoming familiar with departmental and university-specific tools. Additionally, they will be tasked with researching and implementing new technologies that align with academic goals, such as those supporting online courses and specialized software.
