We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead and oversee cybersecurity program operations. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for all program activities, ensuring exceptional delivery of technical and management services in support of enterprise-level cybersecurity and IT objectives. The Program Manager provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight of multidisciplinary teams to ensure all contractual, technical, and operational requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall program leadership, planning, and execution oversight across all projects and task areas.
- Serve as the senior interface with Government stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and timely delivery of program objectives.
- Direct and manage cross-functional cybersecurity and IT teams, ensuring collaboration, accountability, and adherence to performance standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, staffing models, and deliverable timelines aligned with contractual requirements.
- Manage program performance metrics, quality assurance reviews, and compliance reporting to ensure adherence to all standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead proactive risk identification, analysis, and mitigation strategies to maintain mission continuity and operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective financial and resource management in accordance with program budgets and priorities.
- Provide executive-level reporting, briefings, and documentation on program status, deliverables, and milestones.
- Oversee cybersecurity initiatives to ensure compliance with federal frameworks, risk management policies, and best practices.
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of leadership experience in cybersecurity with a PMP certification (or equivalent), OR
- Minimum 8 years of documented experience in agency or enterprise-level cybersecurity project management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex IT or cybersecurity programs for government or enterprise clients.
- In-depth understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks and policies (e.g., NIST RMF, FISMA, Zero Trust, Continuous Monitoring).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage geographically distributed teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on mission success and operational efficiency.
