We are seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join LINQ's Research & Development team in Austin, TX. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about software quality, eager to learn, and looking to make an impact in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities: You will assist in writing and executing test cases, perform manual testing, identify and document software defects, collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues, and participate in various testing phases and Agile ceremonies.
Skills: Basic knowledge of software testing and QA methodologies, familiarity with writing test cases, strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills are required.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience, with 0-2 years in software testing or quality assurance is preferred.
Location: This position is located in Austin, TX, with travel requirements of less than 10%.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $55,000 - $75,000.

What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Basic understanding of software development life cycles and QA methodologies
- Familiarity with writing test cases and using defect tracking tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist in writing and executing test cases based on product requirements
- Perform manual testing of web-based applications
- Help identify, document, and track software defects
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to reproduce and troubleshoot issues
- Participate in regression, smoke, and integration testing
- Learn and apply best practices in software testing and quality assurance
- Contribute to team meetings and Agile ceremonies
