Your Role
We're looking for a motivated and highly organized Public Relations Intern to join our fast-paced Marketing Operations and PR team for the Spring 2026 semester. This is a paid internship starting in January 2026.
This isn't a typical PR internship where you'll just be writing press releases. You'll be on the front lines of a modern marketing team, learning how to connect media coverage, influencer buzz and brand-building stories directly to business results. You will provide critical support for our earned media and influencer programs, helping our team get Hudl's story in front of the right audiences.
This role requires all shifts to be at Hudl headquarters in Lincoln’s Haymarket. This internship also requires availability on a minimum of two days, Monday-Thursday between 08:00am and 10:00am to align support for global team members.
As a PR Intern, you’ll:
- Be the engine of our team's intelligence. You’ll provide the critical monitoring and research that helps us spot opportunities and act on them quickly.
- Move us faster and smarter. You’ll own key organizational tasks that keep our programs on track.
- Find our next great story. You’ll research the publications and people that matter to our audience to help us find our next partner.
- Gain tangible skills. You will gain in-demand skills in PR, influencer marketing, and B2B SaaS demand generation that go far beyond a traditional communications role.
- Support key programs. Your day-to-day work includes media monitoring & reporting, support journalist outreach, assist in press release writing, support influencer program development, support earned media optimization, and award & speaking program support.
Must-Haves
- Currently pursuing a degree. You are pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Exceptional communicator. You have strong writing and communication skills, and know how to be clear, concise, and professional.
- Willing to jump in. You have a "no task is too small" attitude and are eager to learn and help wherever needed.
- Highly organized. You are detail-oriented, love a good spreadsheet, and double-check your work.
- Curious about media and tech. You have a strong interest in media and technology, and are curious about how the media landscape is changing.
Nice-to-Haves
- A passion for sports and technology. You can quickly learn about the audiences we serve and are excited about our mission.

- Familiarity with social media. You're familiar with social media platforms for business.
- Tech-savvy. You have experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and project management tools like Asana.
Our Role

- Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But even if you’re taking advantage of the opportunity to work remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
- Develop your career. On top of working alongside some of the best professionals in the business and gaining real-world experience, we’ll give you extra opportunities like lunch-and-learns and access to curated libraries to round out your internship.
- Support your wellbeing. You’ll have an entire team on your side to give advice and provide answers to your questions, plus more resources like topic-specific Slack channels and employee resource groups. In short, we have you covered.
