Trafera is seeking an Onsite Repair Technician to join their team in Muskogee, OK, responsible for servicing and repairing technology products for K-12 schools.

Compensation: $21 - $21 / Hourly
$21 per hour starting + up to $1,000 per quarter bonus!

The Onsite Repair Technician will be responsible for working onsite at customer location to expedite servicing of Trafera products and services. The Onsite Repair Technician will also perform various support tasks to ensure the transfer of product from the local Trafera facility works as efficiently as possible.
Primary Position Duties/Responsibilities:
- The OnSite Repair Technician will be responsible for:
- Device and asset collection needing repair.
- Triage of devices and assets.
- Sorting devices based upon need of repair; in-house, OEM, etc.
- Staging devices via physical and electronic means for transport to and from Customer Site to local Trafera Repair facility.
- Perform and QA quick repair items such as screens and keyboards for quick turn time of devices back to student(s)
- Maintain the onsite parts closet for Customer and parts inventory for Trafera only-use repairs.
- Maintain accurate inventory part counts inside the Trafera ERP system.
- Maintain accurate inventory control of Customer assets in and out of Trafera facilities at all times.
- Provide on-site data and reports as needed at the Customer location and status of Customer owned devices throughout the repair process.
- Ensure that repairs are made to proper testing procedures, guidelines, and quality assurance.
- Various ancillary support tasks for repair team - daily status count report updates, unit transfer audits, doing manual part spec (as required).
- Work with local Trafera Facility Team on path for failed or incorrect parts, etc.
- Perform repairs via the First Time Fix process.
- All other duties assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of all warranty entitlements.
- Understanding of CSI/Repair Workbench.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge of warrantied devices.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one-year related experience preferred.
- Hardware certifications a plus (A+, ACMT, etc.).
Essential and Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.
