Compensation: $73900 - $110900 / Annually
The Media Analyst plays a key role in SEI’s Marketing Analytics team. This position is responsible for the design, development, and communication of media analytics that provide insight into the company’s marketing performance. This individual will regularly collaborate with the Media Team, agency partners, and analytics stakeholders to deliver end-to-end marketing analytics that meet and exceed requirements from internal clients. This role will manage multiple priorities efficiently and independently, while facilitating knowledge transfer and enabling self-service where appropriate.
A natural curiosity for using data to understand marketing performance, specifically through media mix modeling and multi touch attribution, is highly preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain recurring and ad-hoc media performance dashboards, with a strong emphasis on Power BI
- Analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate insights from media and marketing data to support decision-making
- Partner closely with internal media stakeholders and external partners to clarify requirements, resolve blockers, and present findings and recommendations
- Support media mix modeling (MMM) initiatives, including data collection, validation, interpretation of model outputs, and scenario analysis
- Extract and prepare data from a variety of sources, including advertising platforms and internal data systems, for reporting and analysis
- Write, modify, and maintain SQL queries to access data from the company’s data warehouse (Google BigQuery)
- Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics processes, documentation, and reporting standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, business, analytics, computer science, statistics, economics, or another relevant quantitative field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant digital marketing analytics experience
- Experience extracting and working with data from digital advertising and marketing platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Meta, Skai/Kenshoo, Adobe Analytics, GA4, Eloqua)
- Experience using analytical and data visualization tools, particularly Excel, Power BI, or similar
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write and modify queries to retrieve data from relational data warehouses
- Familiarity with working in cloud-based data environments (e.g., Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/ BigQuery) is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to analyzing media data to generate insights, inform recommendations and support marketing strategy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with comfort presenting findings and perspectives in group settings
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytics skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity and advancing work without step-by-step direction
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also operating as a proactive, self-directed contributor
- Passion for partnering with stakeholders to continually improve analytics outputs and processes
- Agency experience is preferred
