The Center Director is responsible for utilizing management, monitoring, and instructional strategies to ensure both compliance and excellence among teaching staff. This position will serve as the operational lead for the center, providing guidance and support to his/her team to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal licensing and standard regulations.

What You’ll Do:
- Serves as the operational lead for the Center and Extended Day by providing ongoing support and
direction.
- Oversees the full implementation of all aspects of Acelero Learning’s early learning system, policies/procedures, and tools, with the goal of supporting all children to achieve School Readiness Goals.
- Ensures all staff and center functions are fully compliant with policies/procedures, including but not limited to effective practices in health and safety and compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, local and state licensing regulations, and overall center functioning.
- Provides ongoing coaching to teaching staff to support them in successfully fulfilling all aspects of their role, including but not limited to effective practices.
- Works with teachers to implement program curriculum with fidelity and the child assessment system reliably, including understanding child outcomes data and using them to plan and individualize.
- Facilitates collaboration and coordination within education team and across service areas and initiatives, including ensuring full parent involvement in the program.
- Participates in Head Start/Early Head Start community, including staff meetings, mandated trainings, committee and board meetings, and other program-wide functions as needed, including some evening activities.
- Manages the complete and accurate implementation of all Acelero Learning required systems for recordkeeping and reporting.
- Participates in assigned meetings, events and training as required.
What You’ll Bring:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education OR Bachelor’s Degree in related field with at least 6 courses in early childhood education and experience teaching preschool aged children OR state awarded preschool teaching certification with experience teaching preschool aged children required.
2. Minimum of 1 year of managerial/supervisory experience required.
3. Experience managing an infant/toddler or preschool program preferred.
4. Experience with collaborations and community partnerships a plus.
5. Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
6. Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and
functions.
7. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
How Much: This position pays $68,000 annually.
