Compensation: $21 / Hourly
$21 per hour starting + up to $1,000 per quarter bonus!

Position Summary:
The Onsite Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment or systems at customer location(s). You will travel to various sites to perform hands-on technical service, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal functionality of products.

Essential Responsibilities:
The following essential functions represent the primary work performed; however, other responsibilities could be expected that not detailed here but fall within the scope of this role.
- Collect devices from customers and assets such as monitors and docking stations, requiring repair; diagnose issues, then repair or replace components as necessary to restore full functionality
- Performing and quality-checking minor repairs (e.g., screen and keyboard replacements) to ensure quick turnaround and return of devices to students
- If a device cannot be repaired onsite, create a Service Repair Order (SRO) and properly stage the device—both physically and within tracking systems—for transport between the customer site and the company’s repair facility
- Maintain and organize the onsite parts closet, ensuring optimal stock levels of necessary supplies, while accurately tracking and updating inventory in the ERP system (CSI)
- Track company-owned parts, tools, and devices to ensure accurate documentation from the date items are collected from the customer to the date they are returned, enabling timely and accurate reporting to Tulsa Public Schools (TPS)
- Ensure all repairs are performed in accordance with established testing procedures, technical guidelines, and quality assurance standards
- In-depth understanding of warranty entitlements, coverage terms, eligibility and service requirements
- Ensure that cargo is safely and accurately loaded and unloaded
- Responsible for transporting raw materials and finished goods between customer locations using a personal vehicle or by ridesharing with a customer
- Maintain safe driving practices including adhering to traffic regulations and company safety procedures
- Maintain accurate records of mileage
Minimum Skills, Abilities, and Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ years of progressive experience in customer service, technology repair and diagnosis or other related technology services role
- Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically to contribute toward organizational planning
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and deliverables to internal and external stakeholders
- Creative, and results oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with others to identify and solve issues, make proactive recommendations, and lead through influence
- Must have an unexpired driver’s license and maintain appropriate licensing, credentials, and clean driving record
- Must currently have DOT certification or must be able pass DOT certification after hire and annually thereafter
- Requires interstate traveling, including overnight lodging as necessary
- Ability to use Hand trucks and other loading and unloading tools
- Self-directed work style, able to work autonomously, prioritize and deliver results
Technology and Systems:

Work Environment, Physical, and Mental Demands:
Incumbents in this role will primarily perform their work as an Onsite Repair Technician and interact with team members and customers throughout their service location in an office environment. The office environment includes exposure to moderate noise levels typically associated with an indoor office facility. Additionally, the incumbent will be operating a motor vehicle and must adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols. While performing the duties of this position, incumbents may be expected to do any of the following, with or without accommodation:
- Stand or sit at their desk or workstation for long periods
- Use tools, machinery, equipment, or controls in a safe and effective manner
- Effectively use computer keyboard, mobile device, desktop computer, laptop, calculator, telephone, copy machine and other business tools or controls
- Mentally focus on tasks and apply sound reasoning and judgement
- Review documents, monitors or displays with potentially small print
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, face shields, hard hats, masks, gloves or other PPE if required
- Move on potentially uneven or slippery surfaces
- Move through the office facility and production warehouse facility on potentially uneven or slippery surface
- Respond to safety control noises or alarms such as fire alarm, forklifts horns, and machinery alerts
- Reach under, over, above or around desks, machinery or other objects such as bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing to perform work
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment
- Must have hand-eye and mind-eye coordination for safe vehicle operation.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods while operating a vehicle safely, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
The typical workdays and hours for the organization vary depending on the role being performed with potential for extended hours, including weekends or holidays based on business needs.
The typical workdays and hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.
This role is classified as full-time nonexempt (hourly) and incumbents will work a minimum of 40 hours in a work week. Work is expected to be delivered within established deadlines and quality standards within specific time periods. This is typically within a 40-hour work week. Overtime (working more than 40 hours in a work week) may be worked when approved or could be required if requested by a manager.
