Job Responsibilities:
- Represent SPG’s core values and executing the delivery of the highest quality of services
- Supervise SLP Clinical Fellowship/CA Required Professional Experience candidates by adhering to state and federal (ASHA) guidelines about direct and indirect supervision requirements.
- Review student records, monitor, and evaluate the treatment decisions of the Clinical Fellow, including review and sign-off of assessment reports and IEP documentation.
- Evaluate and oversee the ability of the SLP to provide therapy services at the assigned site(s)
- Conduct ethically and legally defensible CA school-based services, including appropriate assessments.
- Consult and collaborate with Parent/Teacher/IEP team regarding service delivery
- Maintain required records, including attendance registers, documentation of supervisory activities/reviews, etc.
- IEPs: development & attendance
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CA SLP license
- 5 years post-CF experience
- Prior Clinical Fellowship supervision experience in a CA public school setting
- ASHA certificate of competence
- Completion of the initial 6 hours of supervision professional development training
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Tuberculosis (TB) clearance
