Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $120,000 - $160,000.
Position Summary
This position will lead the development and execution of our Student Information System. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing K-12 education by driving innovative solutions that empower educators and administrators to streamline processes and improve student outcomes. SIS experience is a required qualification for this role.
Position Scope
- Own the product lifecycle: Lead the entire product development process from concept to launch, including defining the product vision, prioritizing requirements, and managing cross-functional teams.
- Shape the future of SIS: Drive innovation by identifying trends in the K-12 market, gathering customer feedback, and aligning product strategy to meet the evolving needs of school districts.
- Deliver data-driven insights: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze user data, system performance, and customer interactions to drive strategic decisions and enhancements.
- Collaborate and execute flawlessly: Work with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and improvements, managing dependencies and resolving challenges.
- Communicate effectively: Clearly articulate the product vision and roadmap to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across the organization.
- Drive measurable impact: Define success metrics, monitor performance, and continuously iterate to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experienced SIS professional: Minimum 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on Student Information Systems or related EdTech products.
- K-12 education expert: In-depth understanding of K-12 education systems, processes, and challenges, especially around student information management.
- Strategic thinker and problem solver: Ability to balance long-term vision with immediate priorities, effectively navigating complex challenges.
- Collaborative leader: Proven track record of working across teams and leading initiatives that drive meaningful change.
- Customer-focused: Passion for creating solutions that address real customer needs and deliver tangible value to educators and administrators.
- Strong communicator: Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing and building consensus among diverse stakeholders
