About the Team
The International Team within the State andDistrict Partnerships (SDP)division is a collaborative, mission-driven group focusedon expanding opportunities for students outsidethe UnitedStates. We partner closely with schools, networks, universities, andeducational organizations to promote adoption andeffective implementation of College Boardprograms, including the SAT Suite of Assessments andAdvancedPlacement (AP). As a team, we share insights, coordinate across markets, andsupport one anothertoensure students everywhere can access high-quality college readiness opportunities.
About the Opportunity
As an International Market Manager, you join a highly collaborative team supporting College Board partnerships acrossLatin America,the Caribbean,USterritoriesand the US Department ofWar Education Activity.You will manage relationships with key stakeholders at schools, networks, universities, associations, and government offices. Your ability to build trust, communicate clearly, andprovidedata-informed guidance enables leaders in your markets to make decisions that best support their students. You will play a critical role in strengthening our presence outside the U.S. through strong partnership management, thoughtful strategic planning, and close collaboration with colleagues across SDP.
In this role, you will:
DevelopStrategy andPartnership Approaches (40%)
- Apply understanding of the educational landscape in your markets todevelop andexecute strategic plans in consultation with regional leadership andcross-divisional partners.
- Maintain account planning processes andconduct regular business reviews with assignedaccounts.
- Identifymarket-specific opportunities andchallenges andprovidepersonalized,data-informedrecommendations to sustain andgrow partnerships.
- Analyze market trends anddevelop strategic recommendations alignedto international goals.
- Develop andmanage a secure sales pipeline alignedto the needs of schools andschool networks.
- Collaborate with international colleagues to support program growth, training, andimplementation.
- Plan anddeliver workshops andprofessionaldevelopment for K–12 andhigher education audiences.
- Develop andimplement strategies to increase AP andSAT recognition among universities, in partnership with higher education staff.
Manage External andInternal Relationships (40%)
- Buildandmaintainstrong relationships withdecision-makers across organizations, universities, andministries of education to support program adoption.
- Partner closely with colleagues across regions andSDP to share insights, coordinate strategy, andstrengthen collective work.
- Providecoaching andsupport to junior staff, asappropriate, basedon your portfolio.
Execute Internal Processes & Manage Regional Projects (20%)
- Use Salesforce CRM to manage accounts,monitorprogress towardgoals, andsupport proactivetaskandopportunity management.
- Leador managedivisional or regional projects assignedby leadership.
About You
- A passion for expanding educational andcareer opportunities andcontributing to mission-driven workoutsidethe U.S.
- At least 8 years of experience inthe educationfield, with a preference forbusinessdevelopment,partnershipsor sales.
- Experience managinga large, complex client accountdirecting servicedelivery andsupport whileidentifyinganddriving new business opportunities.
- Clear andconcise communication skills, including the ability to analyze,synthesizeandpresentkeydata fora range of audiences including system leaders, educators,studentsandfamilies.
- Strong organization,prioritizationandteamworkskills, including managing multiple time-sensitive projectsandplanning in-country events
- Curiosity andenthusiasm for emerging technologies,includingcomfort adoptingSalesforce andAI-driven tools.
- Willingness andability to travel extensivelyoutsidethe USA on College Boardbusiness(25 -30%,depending on market assignment).
- Fluency inSpanish(preferred)andPortuguese(optional), given the portfolio includes regions acrossLatin America.
