We are looking for an experienced math educator to serve as a part-time ST Math Coordinator supporting after-school programs in the Hueneme School District.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with students, educators, and site leaders to support the successful implementation of ST Math and promote strong mathematical thinking.

Be passionate about math education, particularly K–8 Have experience supporting educators or program leaders in implementing effective math instruction or digital learning tools Be comfortable modeling lessons and instructional strategies that build student engagement and perseverance in math Enjoy collaborating with educators to review data and plan next steps for student success Demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

About the Role
This part-time position (approximately 15 hours per week) reports to the Professional Learning Operations Manager and supports the implementation of ST Math within the Hueneme SHINE afterschool program.
In this role, you will:
Visit sites 3-5 days per week from 3:00-6:00pm. Support afterschool program sites in implementing ST Math and creating engaging math learning environments for students Collaborate with SHINE site leaders and program specialists to strengthen math learning and support program goals Monitor and analyze weekly ST Math data to track student engagement and progress across sites Provide guidance, resources, and recommendations to help site teams strengthen ST Math implementation and promote student perseverance and problem-solving

Located in or near the Port Hueneme / Ventura County, CA area Experience delivering professional learning or instructional support to educators Demonstrated ability to model instruction, coach educators, and support adult learners At least 5 years of experience teaching mathematics in a K–12 setting Bachelor’s degree required Experience with ST Math is a plus Available to support after-school sites 3-5 days per week from 3:00-6:00pm. Willing to travel locally between school sites as needed
