Financial Analyst at Discovery Education supporting financial planning and analysis activities across business units. This early-career role contributes to budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, and reporting processes that shape key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities: Support monthly financial close activities including variance analysis, prepare budgets and forecasts, maintain financial models, and generate financial reports and dashboards. Partner with cross-functional teams to track project spend, operating expenses, and capitalized costs while providing ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Skills & Tools: Strong Excel capabilities and financial acumen to understand financial data and drivers. Familiarity with financial systems or forecasting tools, organized detail-orientation, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline with 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or related analytical field. Basic knowledge of accounting principles with familiarity with capitalization preferred.

Location: In-Person - Charlotte, NC

Compensation: $71K–$80K/yr
