With offices in Boston (MA) and Paris (France), we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Manager to be the first marketing hire at our fast-growing EdTech company. As the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic vision and operational excellence of our marketing efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to drive our marketing initiatives, focusing on educational publishing, career colleges, and corporate Learning & Development (L&D) sectors.
Main responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy Execution:
- Collaborate with the CEO and EVP of Strategy to implement a comprehensive top-of-funnel (TOFU), middle-of-funnel (MOFU), and bottom-of-funnel (BOFU) B2B marketing funnel strategy.
- Identify and target key customer segments and implement effective marketing strategies to increase awareness, create sales pipeline, and grow new revenue within each segment.
- Launch, measure, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns.
2. Hubspot Management:
- Ensure all accounts and contacts are up to date and properly segmented for automated sales and marketing email campaigns, and successful hand-off of engaged prospects from marketing to sales.
- Utilize Hubspot data to drive informed marketing decisions and optimize lead nurturing processes.
3. Email Campaign Management:
- Draft compelling and engaging email copy for automated sales and marketing campaigns, leveraging best practices to maximize open and click-through rates.
- Monitor and analyze email campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
4. Content Marketing Development:
- Oversee the creation of original content, including emails, blogs, white papers, press releases, social media, and other marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with consultants and subject matter experts to refine content and ensure its accuracy and relevance, ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice across platforms.
- Develop effective content distribution strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with target audiences, and generate leads that convert into sales pipeline and revenue.
5. Collaboration with Leadership:
- Work closely with the CEO and EVP of Strategy to create and execute a best-in-class marketing operation that drives increased lead flow at a competitive cost.
- Establish new processes and best practices for marketing campaigns, measurement, event execution, content creation, and more.
- Provide regular updates on marketing performance and spend, and contribute to strategic decision-making.

- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive marketing content and copy independently and in collaboration with other resources.
- Thorough understanding of content marketing principles and experience in producing high-quality content for various channels.
- Extensive knowledge of B2B marketing channels and strategies for effective audience engagement.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a passion for staying ahead of marketing trends.
Profile
- Minimum 3 years of B2B marketing experience at a technology company.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in EdTech, educational publishing, or corporate Learning & Development (L&D) sectors preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing successful marketing and lead generation strategies.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing CRM systems, particularly Hubspot, to manage leads and automate email campaigns effectively.
