ABOUT SONAR
Sonar is a mission-driven startup founded out of Stanford that is making mental health support more preventative and accessible for young people. Our app uses AI to i) identify mental health challenges by analyzing social media and phone activity, ii) provide real-time support to students and parents via chat (with no wait times!), and iii) help with navigation to resources or care.
In June, we raised our first funding round from venture firms such as Lightspeed, 500 Global, Peterson, and Alpine, along with several notable angel investors. In November, we launched our product with beta testers.
ROLE OVERVIEW
WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON
- Selling Sonar’s product to school districts, with a focus on middle and high schools
- Sharing insights from discussions with our executive team to drive product & marketing improvements
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 5+ years of experience in K-12 education, in a district leadership or edtech sales / partnerships role
- Passion for improving the mental health of young people
- Ability to work autonomously to hit targets
