Key Responsibilities: Manage social engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and emerging platforms while responding to community comments and direct messages. Conduct social listening, monitor brand sentiment and industry trends, escalate reputation issues, develop reports and dashboards, manage Glassdoor presence, and coordinate cross-functional communications requests.
Skills & Tools: Strong understanding of social listening, brand reputation management, and social monitoring best practices; exceptional written communication and organizational abilities; proficiency in prioritizing multiple projects in fast-paced environments; strong judgment when handling sensitive issues; detail-oriented with operational and project management skills; familiarity with Sprout and/or the education industry is a plus.
Qualifications: Experience in social media, communications, PR, digital marketing, community management, or reputation management preferred; demonstrated experience supporting brand social channels and engaging with online communities.

Summary: Curriculum Associates is seeking a proactive and digitally savvy Reputation Specialist to support the External Communications team through social engagement, community management, reputation monitoring, and cross-functional communications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing tactical responsibilities efficiently while identifying insights that help shape broader communications strategies. Essential duties/responsibilities: Manage and monitor social engagement across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and emerging channels. Respond to or escalate community comments, questions, and direct messages in alignment with brand guidelines. Support proactive audience engagement and identify opportunities for real-time brand interaction. Conduct social listening and monitor brand sentiment, educator conversations, industry trends, and competitor activity. Flag and escalate sensitive or high-risk reputation issues and support crisis communications readiness. Maintain escalation workflows, documentation, and operational processes related to reputation management. Develop recurring reports and dashboards on engagement, sentiment, campaigns, and reputation insights. Surface actionable recommendations to inform content strategy, thought leadership, and proactive communications. Manage Curriculum Associates’ Glassdoor presence and support employer brand initiatives with HR and Internal Communications. Coordinate cross-functional communications requests while improving workflows, systems, templates, and team efficiency. Required Job Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of social listening, social monitoring, and brand reputation management best practices. Exceptional written communication and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong judgment and professionalism when handling sensitive or escalated issues. Detail-oriented with strong operational and project management abilities. Familiarity with Sprout and/or the education industry is a plus. Required Education and Experience: Experience in social media, communications, PR, digital marketing, community management, or reputation management preferred. Experience supporting brand social channels and engaging with online communities. Preference may be given to individuals with experience in education, edtech, or supporting online communities. Benefits and Pay Range: Pay – This role’s base pay is $22/hr. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws. Benefits - Temporary employees who average, and maintain, at least 30 hours of work per week may become eligible for medical coverage, under the Affordable Care Act, after an initial waiting period. Temporary and per-diem employees working more than 20 hours per week are eligible for twelve paid holidays. All temporary employees are eligible for accrued sick time. Temporary employees may be eligible to participate in the 401k if they meet the hours required of the plan. Travel: >10% Working Environment: Moves materials and event items with or without reasonable accommodation. Role requires extended periods of working at a computer.
