We are seeking a Learning and Development Project Manager within our client's Live Design & Development team. This is a 100% remote role but some travel is to be expected to locations from time to time, primarily on the East Coast.
The L&D Project Manager role combines aspects of design, project management, and execution with specialization in live learning approaches. The role involves designing learning solutions, leveraging the overall learning blueprint, and fast-tracking solutions directly to production. The Learning Experience Manager will develop detailed project plans, drive content development, and build learning solutions. Additionally, the role includes defining and executing the evaluation and data collection strategy, as well as collecting and maintaining required compliance documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Leading large-scale initiatives with multiple stakeholders and work streams while delivering high-quality, impactful learning interventions.
- Engaging stakeholders at all levels to communicate the overall impact of a learning intervention to the business, along with the cause and effect of financial and human resources needed for project completion.
- Collaborating across the learning organization to create the most effective, efficient, and impactful solutions.
- Creating project plans for all sizes of projects, driving milestones, meeting deadlines, managing to budget, and reprioritizing as needed to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Utilizing adult learning theory and instructional design in both formal and informal learning environments, and understanding the linkage between design and learning evaluation/assessment.
- Understanding regulatory environments/compliance standards and their impact on the business.
- Developing engaging, innovative learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
- Working with subject matter specialists to develop learning requirements for targeted audiences.
Qualifications:
- Client service mindset
- Project Management experience in a corporate Learning & Development environment
- Experience with LMS systems (Learning Management Systems)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong presence and communication skills
- Self-sufficient with strong initiative and willingness to learn
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, Google platforms, and cloud-based tools
- Experience in managing people
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work with a high level of independence
- Experience in a professional services firm or equivalent
- 7+ years of training and development experience
