Content Area or Department Description
The Early Childhood Integrated Systems and Policies content area addresses systems and policies for children age birth to eight and their families. Projects in this area build the capacity of state-level or large-scale mixed-delivery early childhood systems through cross-sector, integrated service delivery, policy guidance, system building efforts and initiatives to support the whole child, whole family and whole community.
The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced and equity driven DRDP trainers. Candidate will conduct all DRDP trainings virtually and/or in person to early childhood staff/providers across the country. The training must be delivered with fidelity according to the standards presented and agreed to in the DRDP Certified Trainer's Institute. The trainer may also provide webinars via Zoom and/or participate in the development and updating of DRDP-related job aids.
Core Focus Areas
Deliver engaging interactive and culturally responsive workshops on various topics related to early childhood education, including but not limited to child development, curriculum planning, DRDP assessment, classroom management, and strategies for creating equitable learning environments
- Provide in-person DRDP teacher training (as needed).
- Provide virtual DRDP teacher training (as needed).
- Provide DRDP-related webinars (as needed).
- Develop or update DRDP related job aids (as needed).
What We’re Looking For
- Must be a current DRDP Certified Trainer.
- Experience with Family Child Care providers and/or Family Friend and Neighbor providers (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences and effectively address sensitive topics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- A passion for promoting high quality, equitable early childhood education and a desire to make a positive feedback on the lives of children and their families.
