The Education Manager’s responsibilities are to provide visionary and innovative leadership within instructor, curriculum, and program development to provide effective and engaging instruction, coursework, and an overall exceptional student experience.
What You'll Do
- Manage all aspects of livestream, in-person, and/or hybrid instructors, including hiring/firing, training, mentoring, and evaluating.
- Participate in onboarding training for new instructors.
- Mentor and assess new instructors for course readiness.
- Execute quarterly observations on all instructors.
- Share feedback with instructors and collaborate on their development to enhance skills and ensure an exceptional learning experience for students.
- Develop and deliver training targeting areas identified by low observation scores.
- Assign instructor tiers based on performance assessed through observations.
- Ensure instructor scheduling assignments and other opportunities are provided to top performing instructors.
- Drive improvements in NPS, Pass Rate, and Observation Scorecard ratings.
- Actively listen to instructors and advocate for their needs and concerns within the organization.
- Participate in bi-weekly Education Manager meetings.
- Work with the instructor team to ensure quality in the classroom.
- Ensure student-instructor feedback is being received and responded to timely.
- Ensure effective hiring and on-boarding of instructors.
- Direct instructor faculty meetings and/or train the trainer meetings.
- Ensure availability of adequate resources to meet classroom educational objectives.
- Address instructor related, student escalation issues.
- The Education Manager shall provide vision and leadership for education that is in line with academic standards at all times.
- Develop ongoing opportunities for instructor engagement to strengthen their connection to the business.
- Lead monthly instructor team meetings and nurture a positive instructor culture and community.
- Manage monthly reporting to track progress and drive results toward established goals.
- Support change and innovation within our fast-paced organization.
- Participation in marketing initiatives to provide insight, recommendations, and leadership.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing the organization at events to help bring in business opportunities
- The Education Manager is expected to teach prelicensing, postlicensing, CE, and other courses as needed
- The Education Manager should be able to demonstrate a high skill of instruction in the classroom and be held as an exemplary example of intended performance to other instructors
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Real estate experience as an active agent and/or broker.
- Training and/or instructional experience.
- Superior communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life.
- Drive workflow, manage projects, and report on the status of departmental goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with the ability to utilize active listening skills to ascertain areas of need, define problems, and determine possible solutions to meet expressed needs.
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership, tact, diplomacy, professionalism, and a positive demeanor in performance of all duties.
- Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI) - Preferred
- Certified Distance Education Instructor (CDEI)
