Job Title: Recruitment Outreach Intern

Per Scholas’ Recruitment team is looking for an outreach and recruitment intern to support cultivating a pipeline of qualified applicants to help us unlock potential with our tuition-free technology training and professional development opportunities nationwide. In this role, you’ll be helping our team manage prospective applicant communication, data management, and digital outreach in a highly competitive, collaborative, and fast-paced environment to reach ambitious goals as we scale our training model and enter new markets. This is an unpaid internship but can be used for college credits.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Proactively engage with prospective applicants through personalized text messages, email, and phone calls to foster a positive and enduring candidate experience. We receive hundreds of emails and text messages each month, and this position would support us in responding promptly and thoroughly. This will include collaborating cross-functionally within Per Scholas to ensure prompt and comprehensive responses to inquiries, effectively leveraging resources across teams.
- Assist in candidate and learner data management, deduplication and error reconciliation, working in our Salesforce, HubSpot, and Form Assembly platforms.
- Cultivate professional and effective communication channels with Per Scholas staff, candidates, and key community stakeholders, fostering strong and lasting partnerships.
- Regularly convene with key Recruitment and Admissions Team stakeholders to strategize and align on shared objectives.
- Support content development for various ongoing Recruitment projects, including the monthly Learner Link newsletter and Per Scholas TikTok account
- Maintain a proactive approach to staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in email marketing, automation technology, and targeted recruitment, applying insights to continually enhance recruitment strategies and processes.
Qualifications
- Excellent written communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Strong emotional intelligence, persuasion, and influencing skills
- Functional expertise in navigating Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc)
- Must be a fast learner who is savvy with new technologies and systems
