This role will be responsible for transforming self-paced online content into engaging and interactive live in-person or virtual workshops. In particular, you will design workshops focused on manager effectiveness skills and capabilities, create job aids and facilitator guides, and “train the trainer” collateral.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the project manager for the design and development of live in-person and live virtual manager effectiveness training workshops, including creating project plans, managing delivery against established timelines and milestones, and engaging stakeholders as needed
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to outline learning objectives and desired outcomes for leadership development programs
- Transform self-paced online content into interactive and engaging live in-person and virtual workshops that effectively address the learning needs of participants
- Design and develop the workshop materials, including workshop presentations, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, “train the trainer” resources, and visual aids, to support the facilitation and delivery of training programs
- Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create experiential and impactful learning experiences that drive critical thinking, development, knowledge transfer and behavior change in learners
- Incorporate a variety of instructional techniques, such as case studies, group discussions, role-plays, and experiential activities, to enhance learning and skill development
- Ensure workshop/training content and materials are relevant, fresh, and engaging across a range of mediums including VILT and ILT
Job Requirements
- At least five years of curriculum design experience in a corporate setting
- Expertise in instructional methods and training techniques including curriculum design principles, adult learning theory and blended learning strategies
- Experience creating instructional materials suitable for a wide range of delivery formats
- Experience with facilitation (live and virtual)
- Strong knowledge of leadership development theories, models, and best practices.
- Experience in designing engaging and interactive development workshops for various levels of leaders
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in Facilitator, participant guides and job aids, train the trainer materials, and performance support tools creation
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Must be able to work effectively as a team member and autonomously and balance multiple activities simultaneously.
- Experience in Articulate Rise preferred
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $30-38/Hr
