Manager of School Partnerships-Mathematics
What We Seek
The Manager of School Partnerships builds and cultivates deep customer partnerships with their assigned schools and districts to promote implementation integrity across Carnegie Learning’s suite of products, inspire teacher effectiveness and best practice in every classroom they enter, and drive the educators they support to achieve established partnership goals. To excel in this role, you will be a passionate product ambassador, create and facilitate engaging professional learning workshops, effectively manage customer partnerships, and motivate teachers through meaningful coaching and support.
This role reports to the Director of Professional Learning in their region, is content-specific (math, ELA, or world languages), and works collaboratively within and across the department to best meet the needs of each of our customer partners.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Managing School Partnerships
- Building deep customer partnerships with teachers, building-, and district-level leaders, and instructional coaches in your assigned school districts and leveraging those partnerships to ensure successful implementation of Carnegie Learning products and to foster best practices
- Collaboratively setting partnership goals at the beginning of each PL partnership, collecting data as you support teachers and leaders, and using that data to track on the partnership goals throughout the implementation
- Participating in partnership meetings, when appropriate, to discuss implementation data and determine next steps
- Communicating regularly with building- and district-level leaders in order to ensure transparency, garner support, and build capacity
- Demonstrating a proactive approach to identifying risks to implementation success and developing effective action plans for resolution, collaborating with others where appropriate
Designing & Delivering High-Quality Professional Learning
- Facilitating engaging professional learning workshops centered around the implementation of our products along with general best teaching practices and your content vertical expertise
- Delivering intentional job-embedded professional learning; including, but not limited to, formal coaching cycles, demonstration lesson cycles, co-teaching, lesson planning, PLC facilitation, etc.
- Designing and facilitating custom professional learning workshops according to the needs of individual partners
- Collecting data as you support teachers and leaders and using that data to both drive your ongoing work with teachers and to track progress on the overarching partnership goals
Operations & Documentation
- Following the Professional Learning process in all aspects of delivery: confirming, planning, communicating, executing, and following up with partners
- Ensuring the timely completion of all documentation including, but not limited to, courtesy emails, Media-X logs, evaluations, feedback forms, and other support documentation related to delivered professional learning services
- Actively forecasting current and future service deliverable goals (weekly) for your assigned professional learning partner accounts, ensuring your SalesForce Dashboard is always up-to-date
- Keeping an up-to-date, well-organized calendar that accurately reflects your SalesForce Dashboard

TRAVEL COMMITMENT NOTE: Because this role is field-based where you will be in schools coaching and facilitating professional learning, it will require travel somewhere around 75% of the time, regionally.
What Should Be In Your Bookbag
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (specific to your content vertical), Master’s Degree (preferred)
- Classroom teaching experience
- Experience teaching with Carnegie Learning resources OR instructional coaching/leadership experience
- Experience designing and facilitating professional learning workshops
- Cognitive Coaching (or equivalent) certification (preferred)
- Exemplifies all of our core values to the highest level
- Exceptional time management skills including detailed calendar management, effective goal setting, efficiency in task prioritization, and consistently meets deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment maintaining a positive attitude in stressful situations
- Ability to remain solution-minded and detail-oriented; always looking for ways to improve efficiency, communication as well as the team and/or customer experience
