We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join Cornerstone as the Vice President, People Operations & Technology. This role will develop and execute the strategy for the global people: operations, shared services, payroll, PMO and analytics, as well as systems teams. They will lead a function spanning 3 continents, that manage the internal application of Cornerstone’s leading learning and growth software solutions, core people systems (HCM and Services), global process and services, and payroll for Cornerstone’s nearly 4,000 employees operating in over 26 countries. This role will lead cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiencies and enhance the employee, manager, and people team experience, while living out our ‘Customer Zero’ ethos. This position reports to the Chief People Officer and is a member of the People Leadership Team (PLT).
In this role you will…
- Develop a comprehensive and global people operations and technology strategy aligned withCornerstone’s business objectives to enable growth and scale. Lead, develop and coach a global team of skilled people operations, technology, and payroll leaders, while ensuring the function is properly structured to best support the business and its objectives inclusive of managing the people organization budget and leading the people team QBRs.
- Foster a collaborative, diverse and high-performing work culture where opportunity and shared success thrive.
- Oversee continuous improvement of all People systems and processes, delivering efficient, and consistent digital employee experiences and simplifying global operations. Partner with members of the People Leadership Team (PLT) to deliver impactful People initiatives to accelerate employee and business growth.
- Build effective cross-functional relationships with Legal, Finance, IT, and Product to deliver scalable business solutions and strategic initiatives like our digital employee experience transformation and new product innovation.
- Influence the future of Cornerstone’s market-leading solutions by partnering with Product, to design, deliver, and drive our Customer Zero internal product experience, as a first and best use case of our own solutions.
- Manage M&A activities related to People operations, ensuring smooth integration of new teams and technologies.
- Drive operational rigor by identifying, monitoring, and improving key services metrics.
- Build and maintain world-class employee operations and services that comply with local laws andregulations, compliance efforts, and data privacy/security standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership.
You have what it takes if you have…
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in in HR operations, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
- 5+ years of experience leading a global team of People operations, payroll and HR systems professionals
- 5+ years of experience managing global HR operations at a global company (preferably in the software or technology space) with employees working in in Americas, EMEA, APJ and India.
- Experience in M&A with the proven ability to effectively navigate operations, payroll, and systems challenges during integrations
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive insights and make informed decisions.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering collaboration, and delivering results in a dynamic, global environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives

The starting salary for the successful applicant will depend on several job-related factors, including education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, and market demands.
