The Client Services Integration Specialist will assist colleges and universities in the transfer and integration of their data into Encoura products and services. This person will work with colleges and universities and with internal Encoura Enrollment Services Consultants to provide the highest quality service to our partners. Successful candidates will have experience working with data analysis tools, various data formats and the ability to analyze, validate and transform large volumes of data effectively and efficiently.Knowledge of SQL and Alteryx is a plus.
A Day in the Life
- Provide extraordinary customer support to higher education clients in the transfer and transformation of data files to the Encoura Data Lab.
- Work directly with higher education clients to coordinate data requirements for purchased programs and services including historical enrollment extracts, suppression lists for marketing services, list append efforts and data transfer.
- Prioritize data transfer efforts with internal business owner needs to ensure client objectives are met.
- Experience mapping data flow diagrams to continuously improve quality and efficiency of processes.
- Strong understanding of data security best practices and meticulous attention to detail.
- Troubleshoot data integration challenges to assist clients maximize their return on purchased products.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to maximize efficiency in data transfer processes.

Role Progression
- Within 1 month, you will understand what makes Encoura an amazing organization. You will complete the onboarding process, meetwith everyone on the team and learn how your role interacts with other team members. You will learn about Encoura’s products and services. You will have high level understanding of the work to support client data integration for our products and services. You will learn the software systems used companywide and specific software used for data integration processes.
- Within 3 months, you will understand all data integration processes and working independently. You will use software tools proficiently. You will be responsible for prioritizing data integration work for your assigned territory. You will respond timely to all support requests. You will use data experience and troubleshooting skills to identify common problems with data files and data load failures. You will communicate clearly about issues and proposed solutions.
- Within 6 months, you will know how to troubleshoot and resolve most data file and data load issues. You will meet with clients to help solve their challenges with data formatting and data uploads. You will solve problems and identify better ways for accomplishing team objectives. You will learn advanced functions of software tools. You will define professional development goals. Finally, you will surpass all expectations for the client services integration support role.
About You
- Significant data management experience, including analyzing, validating, and transforming large data sets for data integration
- Strong aptitude for identifying data quality and data integration issues, and creating solutions
- Extensive knowledge of one or more data manipulation tools such as Alteryx (preferred)
- Ability to understand and communicate multifaceted data to members and internal stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Data management experience
- Knowledge of SQL and/or Alteryx
