Summary:
We're looking for someone to join our training team who is a strong writer with a passion for clarity and helping people learn. Ideally, you have experience designing and building online job aids and references, and writing materials that support classroom training events or content for e-learning solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts to define learning objectives.
- Perform needs analysis and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the demands of the learning objectives and audience.
- Plan and write content for training programs using instructional and distribution methods (online, classroom or blended) that best suit the content.
- Create engaging and valid trainee evaluation tools that prove successful knowledge transfer.
- Build processes and templates to minimize the development time for new training materials, and to help others participate in our development cycle.
- Help maintain existing programs to ensure the content remains complete and relevant
Skills:
- Knowledge and application of instructional theories, adult learning, on the job learning, knowledge management theories, and principles in both on-line and classroom instruction.
- Alternately, if you have experience as a technical writer and background in any educational environment, and a desire and aptitude to learn about instructional design, you may be the right person for our team. Either way, you have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.

- The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high energy environment.
- They will be a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for helping people learn and for finding simple ways to convey complex ideas.
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
Additional experience and competencies that are strongly preferred include:
- Fluency in all Microsoft Office applications, HTML and Photoshop
- Experience using e-learning software, such as Captivate or Viewlet Builder
- Proven competence using a Learning Management System (LMS)
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
