The temporary Compensation Director will the design and deployment of Anthology’s Job and Pay Framework globally. Reporting to the VP Total Rewards, HRIS & Payroll, you will drive complex aspects of compensation design and program deployment, including job/title framework, broad-based pay structure, pay guidelines, corporate bonus plans and long-term incentive plans. This role provides the analytical capability and project management necessary to support the rollout of new programs across the business.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Driving the development, implementation, and management of Anthology's compensation programs
- Developing broad-based compensation, short-term incentive and long-term incentive plans that align with Anthology’s rewards philosophy, organizational goals and objectives
- Collaborating with key stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and senior leadership to design and execute effective compensation programs
- Conducting market analyses to ensure Anthology's compensation structures are competitive and in line with industry standards
- Working alongside a small team responsible for administering base compensation, variable pay programs, and sales commissions
- Partnering with HR Shared Services, HRIS and Payroll teams to ensure seamless and accurate tracking and administration of compensation programs post deployment
- Providing expertise and guidance on compensation matters to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes related to compensation
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 12-15 years of progressive experience in Compensation with a deep background in new program design and deployment (broad-based pay structure and variable compensation plans)
- Prior experience in developing compensation structure and deploying global programs
- High level of professionalism and subject-matter expert with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail; comfortable with hands-on work
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and compensation benchmarking tools and applications
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Preferred skills/qualifications:
- Master's degree and relevant certifications
- 3 or more years within global and/or technology sector
- Prior experience with change management activities (creating impact assessments and creating training materials) associated with new program deployments
- Prior experience with private equity-held organizations
This is a fixed-term 6-month position.
Pay range is $148,600 - $200,00/year depending upon experience. Please note this is a temporary, six-month fixed-term role. We use national and industry-specific survey data to assist in determining compensation. Additionally, we consider factors such as external market rate, budget for the role, and the compensation rates of current employees performing the same function. Some roles will have variable pay.
