CollegeSpring is the only national non-profit providing teacher-led test prep during the school day, helping students impacted by poverty unlock greater options after high school. For 16 years, we’ve partnered with school districts and organizations across the country to help more than 50,000 primarily first generation, economically disadvantaged, BIPOC students unlock opportunity through increased scores on gateway tests like the SAT, ACT, and TSIA2 (Texas Success Initiative Assessment). Today, we continue to expand by maximizing impact through larger district and nonprofit partnerships and harnessing the power of technology to better serve teachers and students.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Managing Director of Program Impact sets the vision and strategy for CollegeSpring’s program design and delivery to schools, districts, and non-profit partners with a primary focus to maximize student outcomes. Specifically responsible for owning student impact, partner satisfaction and program growth, the Managing Director of Program Impact will ensure the team is equipped and able to meet CollegeSpring’s student outcome goals as we expand our breadth and depth in key target markets. This role is accountable for creating strong alignment between our work and partner needs, with a focus on creating high-quality programming and delivering value in service of life-changing student impact and long-term partnerships.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Student Impact: Own and drive student impact through an effective, efficient, and scalable program implementation strategy and process.
- Program Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive program strategy that ensures high-quality test preparation delivery and maximizes student outcomes.
- Program Support: Provide ongoing training and support to teachers and school administrators to ensure they are equipped to deliver the CollegeSpring curriculum effectively.
- Program Evaluation: Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and student metrics to track program effectiveness and impact, ensuring the organization is well-versed in student performance and progress.
- Program Data Analysis: Collaborate with the Data and Evaluation team to monitor and analyze student performance data, leveraging insights to measure impact, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions that enhance program effectiveness.
Partner Satisfaction: Own and drive a stellar partner experience through effective partner relationships and program implementation.
- Relationship Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner schools, districts, and non-profit organizations to ensure alignment with their needs and expectations.
- Partner Feedback Systems: Implement a partner feedback system to regularly gather data, insights and suggestions from partners, teachers, and students, using this information to improve program delivery and partner satisfaction.
- Exceptional Service: Provide partners with regular updates on student progress and program impact, highlighting successes and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Program Value: Lead efforts to demonstrate the value and impact of CollegeSpring's programs, ensuring high levels of partner satisfaction and retention.
Program Growth: Drive strategic initiatives to expand and enhance CollegeSpring's programs, with a strong focus on partner renewals and program sustainability.
- Lead Partner Renewal Efforts: Strategize and lead renewal conversations with existing partners to secure ongoing commitments and long-term collaborations.
- Support Program Expansion: Support the development and implementation of strategies to scale programs, including new launches, geographic expansion, and increased partner engagement.
- Monitor and Report Renewal Metrics: Track and analyze renewal rates and partner feedback, developing and executing plans to address any challenges and improve renewal outcomes.
- Collaborate on Organizational Planning: Participate in annual strategic planning and goal-setting processes, contributing to the development of key metrics and performance targets that support partner renewals.

DETAILS ABOUT THE ROLE
- This role is remote within the United States; travel up to 35% of the time may be required.
- Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods
- Must be able to lift/ carry/ transport educational or promotional materials and/or equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
- The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $132,000, with final offer dependent on qualifications and internal equity. Total compensation includes a generous benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, flexible spending accounts, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, 21 paid days of holidays/office closures/recharge days, 15 days paid time off (in year 1), 2 paid volunteer days, paid family leave, and a monthly work from home stipend.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills
Required
- You have a combined 10+ years of experience in customer success, instructional design, curriculum development, and/or education. Prior partnership development experience with school districts is critical.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- You have experience as a classroom teacher, curriculum developer, professional learning professional, or instructional coach and can guide others on pedagogical approaches.
- You have expertise with presentation design and delivery, including large group and remote facilitation. You proactively anticipate customer needs and create help documents, videos, or supporting resources to translate customer challenges into solutions.
- You are skilled in building a web of relationships within schools, systems, and communities, from systems leaders to teachers, in service of enhancing partnerships at all levels.
- You have a passionate commitment to and a sense of urgency for the support of schools, along with a belief that all students can achieve at high levels; you believe in the power of formative assessment, coaching, and professional development as critical levers in school improvement.
- You navigate bureaucratic environments masterfully, being consistent and persistent while balancing our relationship with stakeholders with the needs of the organization.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Preferred
- Master’s Degree in Education, Public Policy, or Public Administration.
- Experience with implementing a learning management system or high stakes testing (such as SAT, ACT, Accuplacer).
- Certification in ELA or Math.
