In this entry-level editorial position, you will support the Editorial Team in all aspects of content development for our teacher-led literacy programs. This is an opportunity to learn about educational publishing process from the ground up and to develop key editorial skills in service of creating engaging, research-based instruction to improve literacy outcomes for students across the U.S.
*This is a full-time, temporary, 1-year assignment.
The impact you’ll have:
- Create and maintain trackers to support editorial teams.
- Participate in team meetings
- Create and track art specifications
- Create and maintain checklists and other documentation
- Complete a variety of editorial tasks related to manuscript creation and reviews.
- Support teams to track and release project materials
- Support editors to review and revise bookmaps, TOCs, and other materials
The experience we’re looking for:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Attention to detail
- A team player who works productively and cooperatively with a wide range of people
- Proficiency in the use of computers and software programs including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s degree
Not required but we’d love to see:
- Teaching or other classroom experience

Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay – This role’s base pay is $30.00 per hour. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
Benefits – Temporary and per-diem employees who average at least 30 hours of work per week within the Company’s look-back period are eligible to enroll in medical coverage after 90 days of employment. Temporary and per-diem employees working more than 20 hours per week are eligible for twelve paid holidays. All temporary and per-diem employees are eligible for accrued sick time.
