The Manager of Accounts Receivable is responsible for leading the AR department to meet monthly and yearly collection targets while assisting with solving account issues and providing coaching and feedback to team members.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Lead the Accounts Receivable team, including providing ongoing feedback and coaching to Accounts Receivable Associates, as well as identifying and implementing continuous improvement measures
• Assist Accounts Receivable team and Sales team with solving complex account issues
• Assign, assist in resolving (if required), monitor and approve Internal Service Requests
• Approve client refund requests submitted by Accounts Receivable team
• Develops, implements, and maintains systems and processes for Accounts Receivable functions
• Participate in communication and documentation requests for third-party collections firm
• Conduct interviews and new hire onboarding with training as needed
• Other duties as assigned
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of hands-on accounts receivable and credit collections experience
• 2+ years people management experience
• Proficient knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes and systems
• Skilled at customer service relations
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Ability to coach and mentor direct reports
• Strong interpersonal skills for both internal and external customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE:
• Experience working with a major ERP system (i.e. Intacct, NetSuite, SAP)
• Experience working with a major CRM system, preferably Salesforce
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:

Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30/40 days/quarter.
