The Senior Product Manager, Communities will act as the leader of a cross-functional team, consisting of Product Management, User Experience, and Engineering, to solve customer, end user, and business problems, and deliver against our product strategy. This role will be focused on products within Relias’ direct-to-consumer and marketplaces product portfolio, and will be responsible for both new feature and strategy development, as well as platform and website migrations.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Leading and participating in the development of product strategy to support the strategic positioning of Relias’ direct-to-consumer and marketplaces product portfolio.
• Developing and enhancing products by aligning business and technical needs, analyzing customer and product data, turning customer insights into actionable initiatives, determining prioritization and rollout strategy, and managing risks.
• Leading the discovery and documentation around how managed products support internal business processes and ensuring critical business needs are met as part of platform and website migrations.
• Leading the discovery process to understand and document customer needs, opportunities, and pain points.
• Analyzing data to draw insights from current product performance and report on key performance metrics.
• Plan development milestones with Scrum team.
• Ensure stakeholder awareness and alignment regarding path to achieving business outcomes.
• Providing business and market context to the development team.
• Prioritizing the development team’s backlog.
• Engaging with internal stakeholders, customer and end users to obtain and implement feedback.
• Creating detailed requirements including user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Driving refinement and sprint planning activities.
• Facilitating and performing demos for both technical and business stakeholders.
• Creating product documentation including release notes, FAQ’s and Launch Briefs.
• Participating in the commercialization and go to market activities for Relias direct-to-consumer and marketplace products, features, and migrations.
• Defining and improving product management best practices for Relias, mentoring teammates.
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
• Proven ability to deliver solutions to business problems, assessing risks and data to inform prioritization.
• Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
• Prior experience with website search engine optimization, and understanding of how it must be supported by product strategy.
• Experience with agile development process, user experience, and customer discovery.
• Experience with feature and business planning, and go to market of new products.
• Understanding of business requirements of internal functions like sales, engineering and marketing.
• Experience using Google Analytics (GA4) and other website/product analytics tools to evaluate website performance.
• Understanding of contemporary technologies and their applicability to solve business problems.
• Can-do attitude with ability to get things done under minimal supervision and drive results across cross functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills, and proven ability to run effective meetings.
• Very strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence.
• 5+ years of experience in product management for a direct-to-consumer, marketplace, SaaS and/or healthcare technology product.
• Bachelors’ Degree or comparable work experience.
IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE:
• Experience managing e-commerce, marketplace, or other direct-to-consumer products
• Experience managing technology/platform migrations
• Degree in computer science, technical discipline, or healthcare specialty preferred

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:
Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30 days/quarter.
