What you'll do:
- Develop and implement a growth plan aligned with business objectives and stakeholder requirements that align to OKRs. Conduct annual bottoms-up modeling to support spend planning and advise on target setting.
- Provide thought leadership on measurement frameworks for awareness, traffic, conversion, demand funnel, revenue, spend efficiency (LTV:CAC, ROAS), and retention.
- Perform in-depth analyses to uncover insights and opportunities translating them into actionable recommendations for marketing partners. Assist in gap and root-cause analyses to identify areas for improvement and propose targeted solutions. Emphasize storytelling, QBRs, actionable insights.
- Ability to model / understand implications of pricing, promotions, marketing spend, targeting that influences revenue growth for acquisition and retention with cross functional stakeholders.
- Apply knowledge of e-commerce conversion metrics and SaaS revenue models. Provide insights and recommendations for web driven revenue for acquisition and renewals.
- Identify optimization opportunities across marketing activities using A/B testing, but also able to understand limitations of analyses as part of strategic prioritization.
- Manage data pipeline dependencies and requirements with the data team. Continuously improve data analytics processes in collaboration with multiple teams
Experience you'll bring:
- Data modeling, annual planning / budgeting (on gSheet/excel etc)
- Data repositories and Business Intelligence tools. Proficiency in SQL (eg: basic knowledge of Aggregate functions, Row Number, Common Table Expressions, Recursive Queries, Windowing Functions, Pivot/Unpivot Operators, Stored Procedures) that can guide teams to build and analyze fast and at scale from large volume of data.
- Proficiency in at least one web analytics tool (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Amplitude). Knowledge of tagging and data collection principles that impact analytics.
- Basic knowledge on dashboards (role will not develop them him/herself) on any tool (Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, Plx, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a globally team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment through hands-on mentorship (player coach), delegation, project management, and communication.
- Drive both accountability and visibility within the team in a matrix organization.
Requirements
- At least 5-7 years of experience in analytics, preferably within the e-commerce, consulting, or tech industry. Knowledge of traffic conversion rates, attribution models, performance and growth marketing or PLG analytics, operational analytics, segmentation, forecasting.
- Prior collaboration experience with business units, content, paid media, social media teams, brand, product marketing, finance, operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Data storytelling, communicating with executive audiences, and written and verbal.
- Identify, size, and validate opportunities to improve content, product, and business outcomes
- Prioritize opportunities and developing business cases for investments
- Craft the narrative around data, and empowering other teams to use it effectively
- Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to make sure we have accessible, usable, and high quality data
- Deep understanding of data infrastructure, analytical approaches, and performance metrics
- Coach analytics teams in building strategic partnerships with the business and generating impactful insights
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of technical and functional teams across the business, senior leadership and the executive team
- Proficient in SQL and experience with Tableau, Python, R, Adobe Analytics

Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $127,400 - $157,300 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary and variable, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
