Job Description:
Pluralsight is seeking an enthusiastic, meticulous event marketer with a strong background of organization and operational skills to be part of a nimble team. As a key contributor to the Global Field & Event marketing team, the Marketing Events Manager will be creating and helping support a broad spectrum of events for everyone from technologists to executives. Your primary role will be building and implementing an event strategy for our largest events, both customer-facing and internal, to support our sales pipeline and bring the Pluralsight brand to the public. You will own all the details from pre-event creation, promotion, event execution, budget tracking, and post event wrap up. You’ll wear a lot of hats, with a new challenge every day. What you’ll do:
- Crafting a strategy for our major sponsorships and trade show events domestically and internationally to drive towards our B2B marketing goals.
- Leading the research & recommendation of where we sponsor the event(s).
- Responsible for the creation of the logistics plan and timeline for the event(s), including vendor selection/management, and project management from pre-event through to onsite execution and post-event follow-up.
- Build and action on the event execution strategy, including the outlined management of all associated resources.
- Crafting and adhering to the budget allocation for each event, including the contracting and procurement process, and post-event budget reconciliation.
- Direct cross functional team workflows.
- You will also be involved in areas of ownership and activation for: our global flagship event series and our revenue organization kick off.
- Travel - willing to travel 25% of the time both domestically and internationally.
Experience you’ll bring:
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to see the big picture.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills: able to run multiple projects simultaneously, work on tight deadlines and keep all programs on schedule.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Comfortable with web/video conferencing and social collaboration platforms.
- Strong ability to influence, collaborate, and negotiate for the optimal outcome.
- Ability to work cross functionally and successfully with peers and colleagues.
- Track record of success setting marketing priorities and strategy, developing integrated field and partner marketing campaigns and executing programs to achieve sales goals.
Requirements:
- A Bachelors in Business, Marketing, or similar field.
- 3+ years of Marketing, Event Marketing, Field Marketing or similar experience.
- SaaS Marketing experience in a technology company preferred.
- Ability to travel is required across US and EMEA (approximately 25%), to support regional events and attend company or team offsite meetings.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce.com or similar), and data tracking tools (Tableau or similar) to assess campaign effectiveness a plus.
Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $77,500 - $95,700 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary and variable, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
