Job Description:
Pluralsight is seeking an Executive Communications Manager to join our growing Corporate Communications team. This role is responsible for developing communications that effectively promote and enhance the reputation and visibility of Pluralsight as the only learning platform dedicated to accelerating the technology skills and capabilities of today’s tech workforce. Reporting to the VP of Corporate Communications & Advocacy, this is a newly created role and a unique opportunity for someone to work with Pluralsight’s CEO and members of the executive leadership team (ELT).

What you’ll do:
- Drive strategic communications for the CEO and ELT in alignment with Pluralsight’s brand narrative, culture, and business strategy.
- Work closely with the CEO, his Chief of Staff, and the executive team to create and drive relevant external communications while supporting activities, such as customer-facing events, and industry speaking opportunities.
- Elevate the presence and messaging for our executive leadership team through an executive point of view program. Craft narratives and an executive communications plan that builds on our corporate narrative and includes media targets, speaking opportunities, awards and more.
- Build and run the executive social program which includes working with a select number of executives on short and long form social content.
- Partner with PR lead to ensure executive comms program is integrated into broader PR efforts where applicable and to support PR efforts as needed.
- Stay aware of new and relevant industry trends to ensure our executive team is aware of important conversations affecting our customers and our business.
- Be a strategic advisor to the CEO on messaging, tone, and delivery. Must be comfortable providing and receiving honest, constructive feedback.
- Draft speeches, presentations, taking points, social posts, and other written materials for executive use.
- Develop a deep, intuitive understanding of Pluralsight’s business, to provide the best possible strategic messaging to the CEO and executive team.
- Partner with VP of Communications to lead and respond to issues that could negatively impact our brand.
- Measure and regularly report on impact and desired outcomes of executive communications function.
Experience you’ll bring:
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Adept at communicating complex concepts effectively and clearly to external audiences.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate across functions and influence at all levels, including the C-suite.
- Ability to work well under pressure, responding to and appropriately prioritizing multiple requests with a sense of urgency.
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years working in Corporate Communications; public relations experience and knowledge of the technology industry required; crisis communications experience preferred.
- Experience creating content for a variety of mediums on behalf of C-level executives.
- Experience and knowledge of social media to elevate C-level executives profiles.
- Experience advising C-level executives on communications highly preferred.
- Consistent track record in producing high-quality, crisp messaging and presentations for senior executives.
- Ability to conduct and analyze measurement of communications program.
Travel Requirements
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards. Sedentary work. Repetitive work. The annual US base salary range for this role is $82,300 - $101,500 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary and variable, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
