What you'll do here:
- Develop a deep understanding of Gale’s curriculum resources and how they align to and meet educational standards.
- Develop and execute pre-sale strategies that align with market needs; support bid responses for RFPS; support sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Apply relevant instructional and assessment techniques for multi-modal, cross-disciplinary, differentiated learning.
- Develop the ability to communicate to prospective customers how product use drives student outcomes.
- Craft and develop online, digital, or print content for lesson plans, assessments, and activities for monthly newsletter.
- Collaborate with the product and marketing teams on competitive intelligence and product positioning for K12 customers.
- Capture customer feedback; stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in education, curriculum development, and instructional design; and provide insights to internal partners.
- Attend and present at select conferences, trade shows, and professional development events to network and showcase our curriculum resources.
Skills you will need here:
- Minimum of 6 years of combined Social Studies classroom and leadership experience in K-12 (some sales experience is preferred).
- Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and/or a related role within the K-12.
- Solid understanding of K-12 educational standards and curriculum frameworks, plus the ability to build and manage relationships with education partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills that effectively convey complex educational concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with technology tools commonly used education platforms.
- Travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
