Position Overview
The IT Technical Services Associate provides daily hands-on support to the organization’s end user devices including laptops, desktops, peripherals, software applications, printers, etc. This role involves responding promptly to IT support requests and tickets, serving as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues at the Roseville, CA office. The Associate ensures end-user satisfaction by demonstrating strong interpersonal skills while interacting with colleagues from various departments.
**This is a hybrid position requiring up to (3) three days per week of onsite work at the Roseville, CA.**
What You'll Do
- Provide first-level technical support to end users, including debugging and resolving problems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and conduct regular maintenance and upgrades of hardware devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT equipment
- Document and track issues and resolutions in the ticketing system, including Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues
- Conduct training sessions for users to enhance their understanding of IT systems.
- Develop and implement data backup strategies to prevent data loss.
- Stay current on the latest developments in IT and recommend upgrades to enhance organizational efficiency.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- High school diploma required, some technical classes a plus
- 1 year of previous experience in a technical support role
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, O365 Administration, Azure Active Directory Administration a plus
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
