Position Overview:
The Senior Manager of E-Mail Operations is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive e-mail marketing strategies to engage our audience, nurture leads, build relationships and drive revenue. As a power user of HubSpot, you will utilize advanced features to optimize campaigns, analyze performance, and ensure our email marketing efforts align with our business objectives. This role will collaborate with marketing managers and tactical teams to create cohesive campaigns and optimize performance through rigorous testing and analysis. Additionally, the role requires improving coordination with cross-functional teams and revenue owners, testing emerging channels, and providing detailed performance insights to ensure effective investment strategies and continuous improvement. In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve strategic objectives and project goals.
What You'll Do
- You’ll Lead E-mail Strategy Development
- Design and implement email marketing strategies that deliver on overall business goals and drive engagement.
- Segment e-mail lists based on user behavior, demographics, and engagement levels to deliver personalized content. Implement state-by-state personalization strategies within campaigns to cater to regional nuances and preferences, ensuring relevance and effectiveness at a local level.
- Develop strategies to re-engage inactive subscribers and reduce churn rates.
- Review workflows and identify optimizations and ideas to improve performance.
- Work with marketing managers and channel owners to evolve the inbound marketing ecosystem.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant advancements into strategies and tactics.
- You’ll Own E-mail Campaign Management
- Create and manage e-mail marketing campaigns from concept to execution to incorporate best practices, review draft copy, design templates, and setting up automation workflows in HubSpot.
- Develop and test subject lines, calls to action, and email content to optimize open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Conduct A/B tests to refine email content, subject lines, and sending times.
- Utilize data to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and user experience.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reporting and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- You’ll Conduct Performance Analysis
- Monitor and analyze email campaign performance using HubSpot’s analytics tools.
- Maintain a calendar of one-off email campaigns.
- Prepare regular reports on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI; use insights to make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Build funnel reporting for all brands and understand biggest contributors for TOFU, MOFU, BOFU.
- You’ll Clean Up And Maintain HubSpot Instances
- Identify older workflows and archive.
- Champion data mining to understand total contacts, engaged contacts, inactive contacts, drivers of engagement, etc for 9 brands.
- Ensure all email marketing activities comply with relevant regulations such as CAN-SPAM.
- You’ll Collaborate with functions across the Real Estate Ecosystem
- Work closely with the marketing managers and other marketing leaders to develop email plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with revenue leaders, operations, product, and sales teams to share plans and garner support.
- Complete other duties and specials projects as assigned.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of successfully managing email marketing and a command of building an integrated inbound marketing campaigns.
- Experience in the education or real estate industry is desirable.
- Expertise in HubSpot, including advanced features like workflows, segmentation, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of e-mail marketing best practices, including deliverability, segmentation, and personalization.
- The ability to analyze email KPIs and data to make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be naturally collaborative, strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
