The Role:
The Treasury Manager is primarily responsible for banking administration and relationship management, cash and investment management, and cash forecasting and analysis. Reporting to the Head of Tax and Treasury, this individual contributor role collaborates closely with finance, legal, and business unit partners.
This role provides significant exposure to the senior leadership team and offers a unique opportunity to make a substantial impact by advancing the company’s global treasury operations. Engaging with globally distributed business partners and top international banks fosters significant professional growth and development.
What you'll be doing
Cash, Investment Management, and Risk Management
- Develop and oversee compliance with corporate cash management, investment, and financial risk management guidelines and policies.
- Verify the accuracy of daily cash positions for all corporate and subsidiary cash and investment accounts, including daily review of positive pay expectations.
- Perform inter-company and external cash transfers in conjunction with Accounts Payable.
- Oversee FX risk and work with senior leadership to manage and control FX risk.
- Handle external audit requests.
- Perform month/quarter/year-end reporting.
- Manage investment of excess cash.
Banking Administration and Relationship Management
- Oversee the timely opening and maintenance of domestic and international bank accounts, including access and authorizations.
- Conduct debt covenant analysis and reporting.
- Maintain regular communication with bank group members and vendors related to cash management, foreign exchange, technology services, and other matters.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with banks to ensure optimal functionality.
- Assist in managing relationships with bank and treasury service providers to mitigate risk, reduce service costs, and resolve disputes.
Forecasting and Analysis
- Develop and maintain monthly cash forecasts to determine liquidity needs.
- Support the development of Board of Directors and Management presentation materials and execute related analytics.
We're excited about you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in treasury and related roles within a company with global operations.
- Experience working with top international banks such as HSBC, JP Morgan, and Citibank.
- Experience working with global teams and managing treasury functions across multiple time zones is essential.
- Willingness to work non-standard hours to accommodate various time zones when needed.
- Hands-on approach as an individual contributor.
- Proficiency in banking procedures and cash management concepts, including sound internal control processes and foreign exchange risk management.
- High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert large volumes of transactional data into structured insights.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Self-starter capable of performing effectively in both independent and team settings.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
At Go1, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $140,000 and $150,000, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. This role is also eligible for the employee bonus plan and employee stock options.
