The Senior Program Manager will use data and insights to proactively identify opportunities that will support of the expansion of the ACT National and ACT National Online test center network. This role involves strategic planning and analysis, and coordination to ensure the successful scaling of operations, working alongside a team that will support the execution of these efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, capacity planning, and project management, with a focus on driving growth and operational excellence.
About the Domestic Global Channel Team
The Domestic Global Channel team is part of the ACT Operating Office and includes a team of managers and team members, as well as vendors, who all work closely together to support the ACT test center network and the test center coordinators and proctors who are vital to the customer experience by ensuring the ACT exams are delivered both via paper and digital methods and do so with consistency, precision, and excellence. This team works closely with many of the other Operating Office departments, as well as other teams across the organization. The team also partners with and supports international testing efforts.
The finalist will be hired at the salary and level commensurate with their qualifications. We anticipate offering a market competitive annual salary in the range of $70,000 to $85,000. ACT manages salaries within the range based on relevant factors including, skills, experience, and internal equity. The position is not incentive eligible.
Location: This is a remote position
A Day in the Life:
- Develop and monitor test center management strategies; engage with and onboard new test centers in target areas
- Lead capacity planning initiatives, ensuring alignment with expansion goals and timelines
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new test center professional and resources
- Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet expansion targets
- Implement best practices in test center capacity management to optimize operational efficiency
- Report on progress and outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
About You:
- A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience that includes data analytics, capacity planning, operational environments and project management
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals inside and outside the organization, including ability to create process documentation and work instructions
- Ability to manage change and navigate, with a positive attitude, an environment experiencing change at a fast pace
- A customer-centric focus and service oriented with a strong sense of urgency and persistence while working through a complex matrix organization to ensure success for the customer, organization, and team members
- Actively seeks and engages with diverse perspectives and invites a sense of belonging
- Acts decisively with sound judgement; uses data to analyze options and form opinions
- Uses self-starter approach, ability to multi-task, proactively anticipates and acts on information and details needed, willingness and ability to learn
- Takes responsibility and follows through on commitments
- Skills and knowledge required for success in this position attained through experience and education (Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics or related field of study), or a combination of both
