Job Description:
A Principal Product Manager works to roadmap and deliver core functionality that helps our customers improve their learning and business outcomes. They are an expert in their field and lead the delivery of important features and further areas of focus that align to our company strategy. Their role is to help identify and build frictionless points of engagement with our users.

What you’ll do:
- Lead, own and implement the product roadmap
- Act as the SME for other Product Managers to brainstorm and problem solve
- Crafting the strategy for the product's user profile by being a steward for personal data across the product
- Reduce user frustration by providing user attributes summary, user action summary, and future path for engagement and growth
- Collecting user data before, during onboarding, and throughout engagement with the platform
- Build, prioritize, and refine requirements using discovery and data to drive your decisions
- Collaborating with engineering team members through problem solving to create innovative solutions that are viable, desirable, and feasible
- Prioritize customer needs using data to drive and execute product roadmap; lead and launch SaaS capabilities to deliver end-to-end results in partnership with content, sales, marketing, engineering, customer success, design orgs
- Develop and advance workforce assessment and benchmarking capabilities; contribute to strategic vision, and relentless focus on sharp execution, analytical rigor and excellent communication
- Formulate and execute to metrics that contribute to business outcome for our customers and business
- Mentor and coach junior product managers
Experience you’ll bring:
- Experience dealing with internal and external team members spread across the world
- Experience as a mentor or team lead preferred
- Experience working with B2B and enterprise customers
- Experience working with assessment type of product area
Requirements:
- Experience as a Product Manager for SaaS or software products
- Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams comprised of Engineers and Product Designers
- Experience strategizing product direction with inputs like competitive analysis, VoC, business reviews and business goals
- Experience collaborating with GTM teams and an understanding of their drivers for successful cross functional initiatives
- Strong experience with any product management and development tooling e.g. JIRA, Trello, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Pendo etc.
- Experience leading and conducting customer interviews to understand customer pain points; co-creating potential solutions with customers
- Strong experience in presenting POV, product vision, and product recommendations to the leadership team and executives
Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $156,000 - $192,000 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
